Our Management Team

The members of our team are all academically and professionally trained and have experience of working on a wide variety of projects for a variety of different clients. We include below a brief resume for each of our Directors.

 

George Brennan

Director

George is our lead director and formed Brennan Associates in 2009. He is a widely experienced professional offering the corporate and domestic client a one stop service for all building related matters. George is a specialist in contract administration, design and the structural investigation of building failures.  George also works as a construction design management, health and safety and a party wall and neighbourly matters surveyor.

For many years George was a partner in a multi-disciplinary practice and was responsible for the practice’s structural engineering, CDM and party wall surveying services as well as administering the IT services.

George is a Member of Institution of Engineers of Ireland (MIEI) and former member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors, fellow of the Chartered Institute of Building, fellow of the Faculty of Party Wall Surveyors and member of the Pyramus and Thisbe Club.

Duncan Pearce

Director

Duncan is a Director who joined us from JLL in 2017. He has a broad range of work experience having been involved in setting up the residential building consultancy team at JLL along with working across the wider buildings and construction department. Duncan specialises in building surveying advice including undertaking due diligence and building surveys and providing project and contract administration services. Duncan also has a keen interest in the health and safety aspects of project work and undertakes a range of Principal Designer and CDM advisory roles.

A member of the Pyramus and Thisbe Club and a member of the Faculty of Party Wall surveyors, Duncan spends a good proportion of his time acting as a party wall surveyor on a range of commercial and residential instructions. Duncan also has experience in negotiating licences for occupation & oversailing and advises on a number of other neighbourly matters.

Duncan is an RICS Chartered Building Surveyor and has worked as a project manager and development monitor on a number of high value residential and specialist housing schemes in London and in the south east.
